The Highest-Grossing Theater for ‘The Odyssey’ in 70MM Hadn’t Screened a New Movie in 35 Years

Glendale’s century-old Alex Theatre installed its 70mm presentation system six weeks ago, just ahead of the July 17 premiere of The Odyssey. Now the venue, which hadn’t shown a first-run movie for 35 years, has announced it’s the highest grossing theatre in the country for Christopher Nolan’s mythological epic on the film format.

Luigi Mangione is demanding that his murder trial be broadcast live. He also asked the court to provide a live overflow feed inside the courthouse so journalists and members of the public who can’t get a seat can still follow the proceedings.

No matter what party you support, if there is a woman in your life that you love (mom, wife, sister, daughter, etc.) you should be telling your GOP rep if they want their job, to shoot this down ASAP, and never bring it back. America, it’s not the 1400s anymore, although it is the new dark ages.
