For the morning commuters: Avoid Mill Creek Ravine. There is a massive mud-bottomed lake at the bottom of the hill at the north entrance, more than 24 hours after the storm. Also, the tree down on 83rd Ave between 101 & 102 Streets is still there as of 11:30pm. Bypass via car lane. #yegbike

I love bike lanes. I love them when I ride my bike. But I also love them when I drive my car; they reduce my stress as a driver, and make the automobile traffic flow more smoothly. (Proper divided lanes are best - sharrows worse than useless.)

Due to rain and high winds in tomorrow’s forecast, we’ve made the hard decision to postpone the Downtown Farmer’s Market bike Valet to July 4th. We hope to see you (and the sun☀️) next weekend!

Bike Edmonton will be closed Wednesday, July 1 for Canada Day, so you'll have to buy your Canada bike bells another day. #yegbike

On the southeast approach to the High Level Bridge, this weekend's rain has caused erosion and bank slumpage. Use caution as the gap between the sidewalk & grass could seriously entrap a wheel or foot. It wouldn't be surprising if the city closes off the route. #yegbike
