Happy belated 102nd birthday to the first Black pitcher in Cardinals history, Bill Greason! From being one of the first Black Marines and fighting in the Battle of Iwo Jima, to the last surviving Negro Leagues player, to a pastor for 50 years, Bill is a LEGEND and an inspiration. Happy birthday!

Tell ’em, Reagan: “We should beware of the demagogues who are ready to declare a trade war against our friends — weakening our economy, our national security, and the entire Free World — all while cynically waving the American flag.” Thank you.

Why bother with a 30 post thread about Pelennor Fields? Because I love the movies, love them. But in the books the army of ghosts don’t come and sweep the field. They are done after Pelagir. Which means it isn’t a supernatural miracle. It’s a human victory. Not gods or magic. People
