Literally my entire 54 year life Republicans have always been opposed to the gubmint having information on all of us. It was 1A Rights. Invasion of Privacy. 4A Violation, whatever. THEY ALWAYS OPPOSED IT. Until Trump became President. Now Literally all of them have turned a 180.

Mike Lee is an incumbent Senator who is far more radical than El-Sayed in both deed and action so I'm not worried on that front. This is a really critical race in November and I hope he beats Rogers. He needs to, but I have two genuine concerns: Outside spending and El-Sayed's supporters.

To the extent people who preferred an establishment candidate are angry, be angry at Gilibrand. She botched this by pushing out the wrong candidate and lying to donors about McMorrow. She's a liability in a leadership position and the sooner people see this, the better.

As a Canadian who's been involved in our own party leadership nomination events, the American system is *insane*.

My neighbor who loves work was laid off a few months ago and is visiting food shelves now after being cut off from food assistance while seeking a new job. He’s also taking in a boarder and doing odd jobs for pay. Feels very Depression era.
