New CBI research shows net zero industries support > 105k jobs in Scotland & contribute £10.2bn to the economy. The latest Zero Waste Scotland jobs tracker showed the circular economy sector employs 56k FT workers and contributed £4 billion to Scottish GDP - a big chunk of the figures above!

A repair voucher scheme would keep money in our pockets and goods out of landfill. Similar schemes have already proven successful across Europe. It's time to deliver that same success in Scotland. Let's demand better.

2024 was Scotland's 6th warmest year in records which go back to 1884. May was the warmest May ever and December the 7th warmest December. Spring 2024 was the warmest Scottish spring ever. We also had the 4th wettest April. 9 of the 10 warmest years have been since 2000, the other one is 1997.
