For federal elections, splitting the GOP into two competing crank Nazi movements would be great for Democrats. At the state/local level, however, we'd be condemning large portions of the South and Midwest to governance by Crossfit George Wallace's.
Y'know I just noticed that Mallory McMorrow has been standing there the whole time. That's pretty cool.

It's a pretty weird framing for his "parents' address," tbh but also yeah, outside of being a college kid, this is weird.

The funny thing is, the next Dem AG can just tear this up and prosecute every Trump family member into dust. Add some inventive charges too. Fuck these people.

Haley Stevens right now making a “we don’t know yet” speech that pivots nicely into conciliation and working together to beat Rogers and Trump. Hopefully this state tone no matter what happens.
McMorrow would have won this, and between Mills and Stevens, the DSCC / senate leadership seems to be misjudging the D voter base right now

The Downballot@the-downballot.com · 16h agoSeems like an upset might be brewing in the GOP primary in #MI08 to take on Dem Rep. Kristen McDonald Rivet. Trump endorsed Amir Hassan, but he currently trails an absolute nobody who suspended his campaign a month ago by a wide margin.
One thing people should notice, Dems are turning out in almost 2X the numbers of GOP in Michigan so far for this

I guess my reaction to Michigan Senate is, vote blue no matter who, but jfc (regardless of ultimate winner, at this point). I haven't been shy about my dislike for Stevens.
