Every midterm since 1980 where Republicans lost control of one or both houses was a direct reaction to actual Republican policy. Every wave election where Democrats lost control was a reaction to a media narrative that blamed extrinsic global macroeconomic conditions on Democrats. Fight me.

This is about Ilhan Omar. But it's also about control, intimidation, & authoritarianism. The message is: we can do this to a member of Congress; no foreign-born American is safe. The administration is using fear as a tactic to discourage people from voicing opposition.
And, once again, I have a moment when the fatalistic stoicism I resigned myself to as everything we warned them would happen happened drains away and I'm left screaming "just what the fuck else did you imbeciles who could have stopped this think was going to happen if you let him win?"

It continues to be interesting to me just how many men, when presented with a clear and obvious answer to a test of morality and empathy, will nevertheless choose to "devil's advocate" themselves into a position of complete assholery
IMHO, it was a data grab along with Musk removing those that were involved in investigating Tesla/SpaceX government contracts. The whole thing was a scam from start to finish.
And this is why I don't have time for "bring the revolution" cosplay bullshit! This, is reality. NOW.
