Oceans is an all timer for me so I've been very curious to see how Nature shakes up the genre pool. I noted some similarly to how MTG establishes a core framework and builds upon it (and have since learned that @dcrapuchettes.bsky.social used to be a pro player so that checks!)

Flamecraft Duals is now yet another game the kid is undefeated at (3-0). I don't find it particularly satisfying (whether you can score your cards and if so how much work is needed to do is mostly down to chance). But when advanced moves are required shes rapidly started intuiting clever moves.

My daughter is very interested in playing Big Walk but looks like the only way to play together is to buy two copies of the game and I'm not sure I can convince anyone else to play with me.

I think my most genuinely unpopular take is that a widely held and genuine consumer preference for cheaper, lower-quality goods, not private equity, is driving the decline in quality of consumer goods like clothing and housewares.
