UK Labour voter and Private Eye crossword & Fantasy Premier League enjoyer. Aiming for even fewer Tories in next election 😈. Less outrage, more facts ⚖️. 🇺🇦 #ElectoralReform #Rejoin 🇪🇺 #RDGUK #HamsturDay

Chatted to a regular I see a lot at a café on Friday. Unfortunately started randomly coming out with all the classic Russian propaganda talking points on Ukraine/Zelensky. And my friend started agreeing with him on some of them 🤦‍♂️. It left me feeling dirty. It's something to witness. #UK #Ukraine

I'm so happy that the right-wing vote is now so evenly split in the UK. It's a seriously beneficial modern revelation. I take a moment to appreciate that each time I see a poll! #UKPolitics

Finally after Farage faced off against Count Binface we were interested in who the public would pick in a battle between the comedy candidate & other party leaders. Badenoch and Burnham won handily.

🚨 WATCH: Count Binface responds to Nigel Farage calling him the "establishment candidate" "That's interesting, isn't it? Because one of the candidates was a sitting MP, formerly an MEP and the architect of Brexit... if that's not the establishment, I'd like to know what is"

Farage's by-election stunt wasted enough public money to pay for free dental care for every child in his constituency. Does he care? No. He just wanted to avoid legitimate parliamentary scrutiny of his dodgy bungs. Which he won't. It'll start again immediately. What a cock.

Have to hand it to him, I was expecting this to be much less popular but he DOES seem to know what the public will like. I really thought the public's logic would be: "Why hasn't he done this BEFORE getting into power and already have a plan for it?/It's obvious". #UKPolitics #Burnham

While some commentators have criticised Andy Burnham for embarking on his "listening tour" of the UK, most Britons approve (56%), compared to only 17% who disapprove yougov.com/en-gb/daily-...

Andy Burnham it's going to have to face facts and accept that he will be unpopular over this PC Harper killers release issue, rather than giving all these (probably) false promises. There's simply no way to avoid being unpopular as a PM when various things are in crisis. #UKPolitics #Burnham

"she described Vladimir Putin’s illegal invasion of Ukraine as a “Nato campaign against Russia” back in June." How many times do Labour have to suffer this self-harm by letting Diane Abbot back in?? It's like a fetish at this point. Bizarre. #UKPolitics #Labour #DianeAbbott

Diane Abbott Under Fire For Describing Ukraine War As A 'Nato Campaign Against Russia'

The remarks resurfaced after the left-wing MP got the Labour whip back on Friday.

I'm not sure that I've seen a poll which so cleanly illustrates the general divide in evidence-based voting between left and right as this one. The voters most interested in small boats are also the least interested. Let's hope Burnham can use his magical comms skills to correct this. #UKPolitics

Britons tend to believe that more migrants are crossing the English Channel in small boats than in previous years, although official figures show the lowest year-to-date numbers since 2021 More than previous years: 36% (-11 from 23 April) Less than previous years: 28% (+15) About the same: 17% (-3)

I, for one, am shocked that man whose CV includes 'pretended to use magic to enhance women's breast size' turns out to not be a credible political leader.

Glad to see that the temporary dabbling in lunacy with the Greens is over and they are on the wane— similarly with the other extremist party Reform. I'd like to keep Trident and to keep building out renewable energy infrastructure thanks. #UKPolitics
