Even if it were true that women’s divisions in some sports were created as a way of protecting the male category, that wouldn’t be a compelling argument for abolishing them now, if there is a reason to protect the female category now. And there is, in nearly all cases.
People who say this shit cannot believe it. They absolutely do not believe it. It’s the perfect example of Harry Frankfurt’s definition of bullshit - indifferent to truth, fundamentally unconcerned with facts, just straight up saying any old shit that sounds like it has the right vibes

Some people need reminded that elite U-15 boys football (soccer) teams have routinely beaten world class elite adult women’s teams. And it’s not because of resources spent on them or cultural issues, it’s because of strength and speed.
So holiday clubs are typically £100 a day for two children. And there are six weeks of summer holidays. It would basically cost me a month’s salary to have them properly cared for over the summer
