If it turns out that free will doesn't exist, nobody can fault me if I write the phrase "buttock punk" on the Internet. Buttock Punk is a genre where society and technology are all based around the buttocks.

Every movie should have a character named Junior who gets murdered so you know the stakes are high. You'd be like "Oh geez, they killed off Junior! That means nobody is safe! I hope the Ratatouille rat doesn't get kill many other people!"

40 years ago this summer, the New Universe was unleashed to, let’s say, mixed reception. It’s definitely a bit of a trash fire, but I’ll always have a soft spot for it (one that’s admittedly largely based around the hype leading up to it, kinda like the SW prequels).

Cards on the table: Who did you think would be the “real” or “new” Superman at the time? Or did you anticipate the fakeout? My money was on the Last Son of Krypton (who we did not know was the Eradicator). If you read that Action Comics where he debuts it seems pretty straightforward!
