Unfortunately, I knew exactly what America was in the wake of 9/11 when Dems eagerly worked with the GOP to erode the privacy and rights of Americans, and gleefully engaged in wars and operations abroad until it became politically costly. Dems will just apologize that a dagger is in our back.

This extends from the top to bottom, with very few exceptions. The percentage of Americans who care about the harm their country does abroad must be single digit percentile.
This is why we can't trust America as a whole; even the Democrats are not behaving as true friends would.

Have the Dems come out forcefully about Canada? All I ever really see are Dem governors asking us to go there on vacation.
