He/him. Watcher of television, abandoner of Twitter replacement options (ask me about my Mastodon account!)

Really enjoying the choice to yada yada the current season so we can go all in on nostalgia for episode #1000. “These three are in the blockbuster and blah blah blah we’ll see that later, NOW, who wants to see Janelle?!?!” #BB28

Here's how to turn off the Gen-AI training on Twitch. Step 1. Go to Account Settings. Step 2. Go to Security & Privacy. Step 3. Scroll all the way down till you see "Training for Generative AI". Step 4. Turn that son of a bitch off forever. Step 5. Profit. Hope this helps anyone! ❤️

Writing fiction in any genre should be a purely human exercise. If you use AI to generate *any* dialog, story ideas, character shapes, *anything* creative, you're betraying the very concept of artistic expression. This is a bright flashing red line for me. www.wired.com/story/the-bi...

‘Everyone Is Doing It’: The Truth About AI in Hollywood

kids, i have something exciting to tell you. I just financed a cybertruck through x the everything app. also your mom left

I actually think the trillionaire saying his AI tool will remake a movie without the Black and trans actors in it should be a bigger story because it’s a perfect example of why the ruling class wants AI to succeed: so they can remake reality without those they deem undesirable - every nazi’s dream.

Every year Big Brother produces 10-12 of the worst hours of live television ever. And every year we try to tell the producers "you know you gotta make your show not suck by doing pretty much anything other than what you're doing". Yet every year, all involved just, like, watch it happen lol #BB28

Braces came off 17 yrs ago but I refuse to have my retainer wires completely removed (I won't risk it!) Periodically a little piece breaks and sharp metal stabs my tongue for a couple days I also refuse to replace the wires because what a dumb waste of money There will be no clarifying questions

I talk to a lot of young wannabe writers and look at their stuff, and they often have a really detailed world and paper-thin characters and stories. And, like, that _can_ work, but it's a lot harder than starting from the character or story and working your way outward.
