Last year I re-connected with the #ElixirLang community at AlchemyConf and Goatmire—very excited to head back to ElixirConf (flying tomorrow to Chicago)!

I’d really appreciate it if my brain would restrict work-related creative pondering (and maybe especially significant breakthroughs) to my normally scheduled work hours, thank you.

I don’t work with XML in anger much anymore, but when I do I wonder how I could ever forget how woefully inadequate and frustrating Erlang/OTP’s built-in support tends to be. This will be a thread of tips for people suffering through their first god-awful heat wave with no or subpar AC. I'm a perpetually broke Southern Californian so my ideas run cheap.

I have been having the *best* time building a terrible, old school MUD (with new school twists) using #gleamlang lately. I highly recommend indulging yourself in nostalgic rebuild projects from time-to-time—even ones you may never share—they’re a blast!
