The World Famous Bucket Fountain

So, walking up Cuba. Just enjoying the vibe, and a North American voice comes through "I've seen a lot of beautifil things in New Zealand, but this takes the cake". It was The BUCKET FOUNTAIN (He had kids tbf)

...anyway. The fog cleared and it was a beauty day. Today I had a cone of hokey-pokey, rode the Wellington cable car, explored the royal botanic gardens, listened to so many birds, walked up and down Cuba St, and saw the Bucket Fountain 🌞

Sneak peak of something new for the next, um, our first tea towel pre-order as Bird and Beach. Bucket Fountain will be Ryan's first ever tea towel design to be offered for sale, and there are more regional ones in the works.

A tea towel printed with an illustration of the Bucket Fountain in Cuba Street, Wellington, displayed hanging on a clothesline on a balcony overlooking the Hutt Valley.

Ms 20 landed her first post-Otago Uni job this week in Wellington so Friday night drinks is a celebration from one of my old favs Matterhorn in Cuba Mall and once as iconic as the Bucket Fountain (sadly the M is no more). Enjoy the weekend everyone! 🍸 #TGIF
