Yes. If you don't want people speaking badly of you after you die, then don't do the things that make people think badly of you when you're alive.

It has been criminally underreported but Kelsey Pfendler has just rowed solo across the Pacific Ocean from the US coast to Hawaii in record time. A 2,400-mile unsupported journey in 43 days, 17 hours, and 55 minutes. Notably beating the Men’s record by 9 whole days.

Just a reminder that from tomorrow EU #petpassports for #dogs and #cats resident in the UK won't be valid. You'll need a UK animal health certificate costing typically between £100 and £350. The rules are complicated and time sensitive so familiarise yourself soon! #Brexit www.gov.uk/taking-your-...

Guardian’s John Crace saves us from having to suffer Makersfield QT: “I can’t be a sexist” Kenyon pleaded. He knew this because his mother and sister were women. In RobWorld, to be a sexist you can’t know any women. It’s just that he wouldn’t want to get in a car that either of them were driving.”

It’s a washout: fighters pull their punches in Question Time’s Makerfield match-off

We have #hedgehogs 🦔 in our garden: last year a mum with 5 hoglets… Two weeks ago I was surprised to spot one eating and drinking in broad daylight; normally they feed under the cover of darkness. The day after I found him in the garden looking unwell. The vet collected him - and today

Picture of an ill hedgehog, curled up and peeping out with a watchful eye on a soft blanket in a box, waiting for a vet to arrive.
Hedgehog eating the specialist hedgehog food from a metal bowl in broad daylight; the next day I found him laying on the lawn, so called a vet.

Reform thugs are just UK J6ers - easily deceived, angry, exploited by populist politicians. Just remove those with past convictions from our communities … May I suggest Rwanda? Chagos? How about exchanging one immigrant for one rioter with previous? Give each 1 an ankle tag for 120 months per riot

In a detail which will surprise no one, the first of the "patriots" to plead guilty to offences connected to the rioting in Southampton on Tuesday night has a criminal record as long as your arm, including.... possessing a knife.

The court was told that Frost had previously received 25 convictions for 55 offences, including an offence against the person in 2001, four public disorder offences between 2006 and 2011, offences of failing to surrender in 1999 and 2008, possession of a bladed article in 2009 and threatening and abusive behaviour in 2010 and 2011.

the England flags going up for the football don't feel special anymore. It used to look like good craic was afoot when the world cup decorations came out. Now it looks like fascism. you get the flags out when you have a reason. you wouldn't have the christmas tree up all year round!

Awesome. 15MW per wind turbine… London Array (2013) has 3.6MW turbines.. That’s an amazing increase in a relatively short period. Hopefully the technology holds up and the market conditions improve. Would be interesting to see one of these on a Principle Power Windfloat 😍

From Vestas: "The first V236-15.0 MW™ turbine has now been installed at Ecowende's offshore wind farm in the Netherlands."

New figures: 2025 was a record year for solar deployment in the UK, as households & businesses respond to the energy crisis by generating their own power. 269,000 solar installations were completed across the UK in 2025, 37% more than the year before, & the highest ever recorded in a calendar year.

Seems like the media has missed the fact the man accused of murder is a founding member of ‘Raise The Colours’. Yet another key member arrested for violent criminality in less than 2 weeks after another member ran somebody over with their van hours before attending the ‘Unite The Kingdom’ march…

It is extremely clear that Reform capped out a year ago at 30% have fumbled their way back down to the low 20s because they cannot be normal and are eminently beatable by whichever of Labour or the Conservatives remembers that the average voter does not have a Klan hood first.

It's absolutely defeatist and wrong to think these are the views of all but a fringe of people, and this stuff presents a great way to drive a wedge between the Ref base and wider voters.
