The Knicks were on a 13-game winning streak until this thing slithered in. He shut the city down, got booed, fell asleep, & stunk up the place. Stay at one of your clubs or the White House. This obnoxious creature causes nothing but chaos and, as Rick Wilson says, ETTD. He probably jinxed them too.

Gender has a bearing on why these critiques of HR are not directed at a faceless extension of management interests, why a woman's (smiling) face is chosen, and why such an image invokes a certain kind of ire in the presumptively male audience for it.
"HR Lady" is just a distillation of "everything I don't like is feminized and also my mom telling me things I don't want to hear"
