A fun side note, all of the character animations are done in-game. I wrote some tools to help us record controller inputs and used our game's event and key bind systems to control the camera and a bunch of other things

LAYERS DEEP DEVLOG! Three of us are making an indie Metroidvania about an onion (@layersdeep.bsky.social), here’s what we’ve been up to… and why we declined a genuinely good offer from a publisher we liked, even in these trying times 😬🫠. youtu.be/zZHH5DxWwZY?...

If you believe this was just a "mistake": The PR that did all this changed "off" to "all" on TWO LINES, and was merged without testing/feedback in 4 hours. The "fix" was also 2 lines, after more than a week of backlash. There's quite literally no room to interpret this as a mistake.

A screenshot of the original PR's changes, showing changes from "off" to "all" in two places.A screenshot of a response from the approver (dimitrivMS):

Thank you all for your feedback, professional or otherwise.
Sorry about the regression. I will work on fixing this in 1.119.

There is a number of issues with the Co-Author functionality:
- It should never have been enabled when disableAIFeatures is on.
- It should not add attribution to changes that were not done by AI.
- We need to make sure it receives a more test coverage before change the default.

If you have additional (constructive) feedback, please ping me directly or open an issue.

Not that anyone needs yet another reason to steer clear of Microsoft, but VSCode now adds Copilot as a co-author of all your commits, regardless if you used Copilot. This was added silently as a default. This is some next level insanity.

If you don't care about SEO, performance, load-times, and probably a bunch of other things, you COULD just use Godot to make an entire website This is the same kind "wrong tool for the job" that made me fall in love with JavaScript

It's that time of year... 🍂 🎃 The Ghost Town Pumpkin Festival is BACK for 2025! 🎃 This year we can support up to 800 players at once in this seasonal pumpkin carving MMO! This year's update comes with new areas and new secrets to find. Hope you don't mind if I re-use the trailer from last year! 😅
