In the 80s & 90s there’d be ads where some guy was surrounded by hot women, driving fancy cars, etc. calling you the viewer a LOSER who could become a WINNER like them if you only bought their book, course w/e. These were infomercials: paid models, rented cars etc. The scam persists today, on TikTok
