Random middle class, middle aged, mid-level nerd. It can happen here, whatever "it" may be. "Screw you, I've got mine" is not the highest moral calling we can aspire to. The cartoon in my profile is from 1894 and has been relevant since.

This is a good piece and well written but at the end of the day if you keep going to a Nazi bar to hang out with Nazis because it's the only place your friends are, you're a Nazi, so very little you say and do is actually going to make coherent moral sense.

I wrote about the feeble attempt by prominent tech punditry mainstays like John Gruber and Casey Newton to rationalize their continued use of Elon Musk's propaganda website.

Holy shit ASOS released an adaptive clothing line specifically for people with disabilities?!?!!! Magnets instead of buttons, special pockets and holes to hold wearable medical devices that have tubes, and zippers to make them more comfortable for wheelchair users. www.asos.com/women/fashio...

after so many years of Civility™️ and Reaching Across the Aisle™️ and Bipartisanship™️, we are so hungry for anyone to just flat-out say “are you a whole-ass criminal y/n, trick question it’s yes and we have proof” right to their faces it hits like ice-cold peppermint schnapps

I don't know that it makes him presidential material but Ossoff's ability to just be honest about how much of a pile of shit these people really are should be a model to the party.

I'm sorry to ask but I'm stuck in bed again today. Please help me get something to eat while I'm unable to stand long enough to cook. V: @marghoul CA: $helpmarghoul

Life pro tip: if you ever buy a new phone, bill it to a credit card with mobile device insurance. There’s some that don’t even have an annual fee. Bike accident cost me $1242 in repair bills (phone was totaled beyond repair), but with insurance I paid a thousand bucks less.
