Extreme moderate.

This is genuinely the single most needless self-inflicted political clusterfuck I've seen in some time. It was a council selection: all Badenoch had to do was get him dropped as a candidate. Instead she's turned it into a multi-day saga she now personally owns.

I’m bored of waking up and seeing a picture of a demonstrably shit golfer say the same old bollocks next to a tied back curtain by an aeroplane toilet

The Guardian review section praises both a novel about a vacuum cleaner becoming sentient, and a film about a woman reincarnated as a vacuum cleaner. 🤔 Is this a major new genre which has somehow passed me by? #hooverlit

"Sources with knowledge of the scheme say the intention was for Infantino to become the chief executive or commissioner after his presidency, with a basic salary — before any bonuses — of $30million (about £22.2million) a year". I feel hopeful about the talks today on fixing our broken care system but this is just the beginning. A solution is desperately needed. I will always stand up for family carers through this process.

It is very hard to see how anything other than a secession of all UEFA countries from Fifa (which other confederations would follow, as the WC is worth very little without European teams and markets) can put a stop to the assault Infantino and his US friends are leading on football.

Full of despair today. Massive lay offs in social sciences and humanities across the country, Burnham puts out a video saying 'AI can write an essay', and my university is busy integrating co-pilot into all staff and student computers. We are being told we're defunct and there's no resistance.

My theory is Infantino is only interested in money and celebrities. His dream is a franchised 'all-stars' tournament, where future* Ronaldos and Messis 'compete' in contrived celebrity teams. Two hour half time shows, laws of game scrapped. Sod inconvenient countries and fans. 👍 *and current 🤷‍♀️
