Oh
Every move he makes is just another case in point as to why he has to go
oh it's getting real *INFANTINO OFFERS MOROCCO WORLD CUP FINAL FOR SUPPORT: TIMES
"Idiot, racist, misogynist and self-confessed groper" is what Miliband previously said, but Cole leaves out the last one for some reason.

Once again I am fascinated to learn how a pressure group like this is funded. Car trackers? Active tracking & intimidation campaigns? You telling me you can get this all done for free?
Leaders of flag-raising group Raise the Colours Oxfordshire placed trackers on highway workers’ cars to find out their home addresses, the High Court has heard. RTC then attempted to intimidate the highway staff into no longer removing flags by repeating their addresses to them.
It's not really rain, is it? It's barely theme park mist.
big respect for Wenger dusting off the old "I didn't see the incident" about Infantino's plans www.bbc.co.uk/sport/footba...
Eleanora Folan is "Stats For Lefties" by the way
A party that was actually anti-racist would be kicking this person out, not allowing them to run for the Governing Committee. There are many decent Greens who will be disgusted by this and I wish them all power fighting back against it. We know from experiance how hard that is.
He will never understand that being "the fat guy from Superbad" is infinitely better than being "the martial arts chud nobody likes"
I honestly don’t know how anyone can be in the room when he says this kind of shit and not say ANYTHING. That’s not how you talk to people! Hit him with a rolled up newspaper or SOMETHING.
Trump says Jeanine Pirro "choked" and then snaps at a reporter who asks if her job is safe: "Don't ever talk again"
A truly amazing sentence. It's the "in real life" bit that elevates it to extra insanity.
just in case you wondered how graham is doing lol
Hmm, I don't think Swift actually did want to cook babies, while Liddle did want to fuck schoolgirls. That's a bit of a distinction there.
Fraser Nelson reckons Rod Liddle was “the greatest satirist since Swift” while Michael Gove is comparing him to not just Swift but Orwell. Amazing the comparisons you can get if you’ll pump out exactly the racist opinions even they are too squeamish to commit to print.
Even Rebekah Brooks - who knows what obituary euphemisms are - goes with "challenged conventional thinking" which translates to "was batshit insane"
In this BBC obit I love how the descriptor 'no stranger controversy and often split opinion' is used to convey 'racist, misogynistic, attention-seeking dick'. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...
I know it's not the worst crime here, but this is just... incredibly bad writing? "foxy in a Pot Noodle scuzzy kind of way"?
Like all great writers, it's a time to pay tribute to the words they left us with
Oh, and you'll never guess who the editor of The Spectator was at the time of this assault on a junior employee by an unpunished "star" writer.
Aged 44, he left his wife and two children for a 22-year-old, who was a receptionist at the Spectator where he was an associate editor, got her pregnant and then punched her, for which he received a police caution for common assault, but stayed at the Spectator for over 20 more years.

I do think fundamentally if your impulse a decade ago was "no, they're just racists" you would have had a better read, and practical response than anyone trying to understand "economic anxiety" and "hygiene factors."
Andy Burnham correctly points out in an interview that small boat crossings are massively down this year compared with last. The comments in the post are filled with people suggesting he is lying about this very clear, data-evidenced fact. It’s almost as though they don’t want it to he true…
What is going on at the Guardian?
There's an amazing Guardian "both sides" turn halfway through this article where we're urged to see things from the fly's point of view and "stop automatically blaming the fly when it bothers us." www.theguardian.com/environment/...

I'm sure it's just a coincidence that the quoted view is usually held by people who are wrong about absolutely everything else.
No need for anyone to agree with me - but some of the responses to this on here reminds me just how stifling and absolutist a period in our national discourse Covid was.
