Tuesday games night! Forgot to take a photo of Snowdonia, but we also played Middle Ages, First Class Letters and Big Shot. Four #boardgames on a weekday evening?!

The people yearn for Broom Service
Dear @allplay.bsky.social and / or @bitewinggames.bsky.social please can you reprint Broom Service and Witches Brew as a double whammy. Including some Kiki’s delivery service artwork and maybe add a solo mode for witches brew. Thanks! 🙏
Some highlights from #boardgames club today - Dragon vs Kingdom, Hedge Mage, Out of Sorts and Big Shot
Listening to @add-hawk.bsky.social talk on @99pi.org whilst I'm cutting, laminating and assembling print & play boardgames this morning, fascinating to hear about achievement vs striving play, I love thinking about games and why they matter to us.

Played Compania again tonight & it is fast becoming one of my favourite euros. Really it is a 'euro with ameritrash characteristics'. Area control + worker placement + tableau building + simultaneous action selection. It's like Pirate's Cove, Terraforming Mars & Caverna had a transporter accident.
Sunday #boardgames club roundup - Batam, Big Shot, Harmonies (with new Pulse mini expansion), The Dealer and Foxglove Farm
Played some more Here Lies tonight, along with squeezing in a learning game of Regular Human Climber - which is a co-op trick-taking game in which you are definitely a normal human and not four independent limbs trying to climb a rock wall without falling off #boardgames
£5 for what will no doubt be another banger from Postmark Games is an absolute steal
Master of Coin is live on Kickstarter! Flip coins to build and manage your fledgling fantasy kingdom in this brand new print at home game from the designers of Voyages. youtu.be/JBABZvlvRgM
Had a great time at #boardgames club today! I played a whopping 6, not bad for a Sunday afternoon - Tally Up, Ofrenda, Omens, Dark Pact, Too Sloth to Win, and Masquerade Trick Party
It's Tuesday, which means more #boardgames! A friend brought round a copy of Tekhenu: Obelisk of the Sun and we also got to try Inkwell from @dvcgames.bsky.social
Some #boardgames from the weekly club meetup today - featuring Ofrenda, Cockroach Poker, First Class Letters and Pueblo. Forgot to take a snap of Fathom and also snuck in a game of Can't Win at home.
Since there is a little trend I thought I would share my Patreon. I am moving towards being completely independent, buying all the games I review (not including the work I do for TTGM). Your support can help make that happen. www.patreon.com/c/thegiantbr...

Playing a print & play copy of Propaganda by @chris.eternalstudios.com - unique game of rolling dice, taking photos and then using those photos to bluff other players into aiding you into winning - we had a lot of fun and some really funny photo reveals and counter arguments #boardgames

I actually received a physical letter back from my MP to confirm that they signed EDM 240 to oppose the EHRC Code of Practice. I know this doesn't solve the problem, but if we keep putting pressure on, I can hope that we can change things for the better. Trans Rights! 🏳️⚧️
Good evening of #boardgames tonight including my first play of Snowdonia, a throwback play of San Juan and got one of my Tokyo Game Market games to the table - Adventurers Just Want to Rest in Fancy Graves

Pyre ($3.99) - my own fave Supergiant game to this day. a narrative driven magic infused NBA Jam that even comes with its own talking Air Bud. your exiles must complete rituals so that they might earn the right to return to civilization once more. store.steampowered.com/app/462770/P...
Played some great #boardgames this afternoon that I found via recommendations from others. Here Lies by @dvcgames.bsky.social is an incredible co-op deduction game and Cheese Thief from Jolly Thinkers is a very silly social deduction game with a squishy foam cheese.
I reviewed Spaghettin & Bookshelf, two games in Alley Cat Games' lovely, distinctive series of dexterity games in mint tins, for Tabletop Gaming magazine. You can read my thoughts on both via these two links: www.tabletopgaming.co.uk/reviews/spag... www.tabletopgaming.co.uk/reviews/book...

Enjoying an evening of #Netrunner with a group of friends. Alt arts arrived from the Summer Showdown this week which has spiced up my deck. Love the Loup alt by Valentine de la Rosa!
It's been a little while, thanks to some crazy times at work, but today I published a review. It's a few years old now, but boy, is Joraku good?! Find out why I like it so much right here - punchboard.co.uk/joraku-review/
Joraku Review - Go West!
It’s a cliché to say that Japanese designers a) love trick-taking games, and b) do trick-taking better than anyone else, but when you play a game like Joraku you understand where it comes from.

I'm so excited that the ColorJam Kickstarter page is LIVE! 🖍️ The goal is simple: "Color a nice picture." 🧩 The puzzle is elegant: satisfying for gamers, easy enough for kids. 🤔 But the experience is deep: What, really, is a "nice picture?" I would love if you followed along to learn more! 🩷💚🤎🩵💜💛
Make your next work of art in Color Jam, a cozy, print-and-puzzle coloring game launching on Kickstarter later this year. Grab your favorite crayons and play solo or with friends. Follow along here for when the project goes live: www.kickstarter.com/projects/lun... The night is for creativity. 🖍️
Tuesday is typically euro night with some friends and tonight's heavy #boardgame of choice was Cooper Island
