i've watched multiple people go from having strong feelings about this to becoming anti-trans or anti-immigrant because they surrounded themselves with bigots who agree that when pluto was a planet we were in a golden age and have since fallen.
it's functionally the same as people who post pictures of fast food restaurants that have changed their designs since the 90s and unironically say "this is what they took from you" except that it's laser targeted at people who still follow IFLS on facebook.
I don't know about kicking ass, but I'm doing the work to process and heal from the huge amount of childhood trauma and it's the hardest thing I've ever done. I think I can call myself tough for that, at least Also, I guess I'm a pretty good cellist, or so the people that keep hiring me say

consult went well! the surgeon seems awesome, I went in with a few rough ideas and she basically covered them all with procedures that she would recommend. I have a CT scan scheduled for next week, and then I'll get to follow up with her for a more in-depth consult to dial in exactly what we'll do
