Concerns over fake phenomena cannot be held in good faith. There's no such thing as "good faith" concern over razorblades in Halloween apples or vaccines causing autism. If you still have 'concerns' about these issues you are uninformed, a bigot or being manipulated. No other option.

FWIW, Meta was fully aware of how these glasses would primarily be used. The glasses were designed to erase consent, and that is why they exist. Anything that they do that suggests they want to ameliorate this use is an attempt to win the PR battle and manipulate public opinion.

here's another fun hot chili fact: while it's common for anglophones to spell it "habañero", this is an example of a phenomenon called hyperforeignism. in spanish, it doesn't have a tilde. "habanero" means "from havana", since it was often traded through there, though it's uncommon in cuban cuisine
