“Earnestness is cringe” is just the mirror image of “cynicism is savvy” and the matching partner to “lol nothing matters” which is the fertile ground for fascism to grow. Hope is cringe. Progress is cringe. Change is cringe. Getting together with other people and imagining something better? Cringe.

A great, if slightly rushed, season finale of #XMen97 (probably feeling the 1 less episode this year). But I really enjoyed it! And it’s doing its job of reigniting the cultural love for this world and characters. And plenty set up for S3 too… I wonder if we’ll see Onslaught?

I will give Marvel & Star Wars credit for waiting 10 years before even attempting such a thing. I remember thinking this would be a “obvious crossover” in 2014. I admire the restraint!

I hate to break it to everybody that uses it as a talking point but Andor is Star Wars as fuck - as in it could not exist as a Story if it wasn't for the very nature of it being Star Wars. The story literally could not take place in any other sci-fi franchise. No ideas spark without it
