In my opinion, a failure to understand the white-hot rage so many people feel about ICE's campaign of terror and oppression is what has taken some establishment Dems by surprise in their primaries. Abolish ICE and Nuremberg 2.0 is basically the floor for what the Dem electorate is demanding.

The single most impactful social/cultural development over the last decade (that virtually no retrospectives of "woke" have engaged in) is the new elite consensus that moral judgement is itself inherently illegitimate.

a few general observations from a week that has included a lot of getting yelled at: 1) many to most people still think of AI as chatbots. Chatbots are at this point useful but they are imo perhaps an order of magnitude less useful than agentic AI.

I asked a driver how they service them since they’re no longer made. He said they have a guy they go to for all the software updates and all that. Even though, it has many missing typical car elements. (Like cruise control or power windows even I believe).

If calling vaccines "therapies" gets more people to take them that is an easy win. If this *is* the case the people who want to defend a subsection of tech that's been marketed to us as "Ai" needs to start calling their stuff something else
