if you get torched by macklemore and scolded by ms rachel you gotta re-evaluate your life choices
Ms. Rachel: "Ed Sheeran had an opportunity…Instead he caved to people who refuse to accept what the world knows." "If more than 20,000 white children were killed…everyone would be shouting…Treating some children's lives as less worthy of outrage is racist. Silence during a genocide is not neutral."
One more and we go above Hull. Cement that champions league place 😉 #lufc
It’s just mad that we got DCL for free. He’s a natural goal scorer, one of the most natural there could be #lufc
Bogle, Ampadu and Justin are consistently great every game. This is very good #lufc
This is a good performance. I’m so pleased Tanaka is getting back to his best. #lufc
The disease stuff is getting particularly irritating because so far it's delivered far less than expected on that front, even in the areas credible experts were quite hopeful for, like protein folding etc. So the "five years" stuff here increasingly feels like an Elon promise.
I'm entirely unsure where exactly we are in the AI hype cycle. Anthropic's CEO says we need to slow the pace of development, but at the same time — in the *first line* of his 3,800-word essay — he says "AI could cure most major diseases in the next 5–10 years."
Calling bullshit on the lentils and chick peas pushing the budget up. And what would be wrong with investing more into children's nutrition even if it did? bsky.app/profile/snig...
Every 1st generation migrant from the Indian subcontinent will tell you Dal-bhaat (lentils and rice) are a cheap and nutritious food. Most lived off it until they could afford other ingredients. Lentils busting the school dinners budget is stupidity on stilts.
The Telegraph is terrified kids are going to become lentil munchers. Dal is famously known to be a very expensive dish. How will schools cope with the burden? 🤡
But remember, nothing is Lampard’s fault, and never can be #lufc
Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband; son of a man who had to flee the Nazis: I'm Jewish BBC News: 😠 are you, though? You're doing it wrong Fascist Daniel Thomas, in between attacking teenage cricketers and rnli volunteers: I'm Christian BBC News: 😊
I replied to it as well. I wrote. "Are you bonkers? This isn't about £50. You may as well throw a pebble in the sea. This is about the loss of democracy unless you do something. And, now. You have a huge majority. Please use it!"
I've had two labour members WhatsApp me furiously about this already. One's cancelled his direct debit. The other was so angry he sent a reply to the automated inbox, even knowing it was unmonitored. So wouldn't say it's looking like a *great* idea, so far…
Labour sending out fundraising emails off the back of the Harborne and Delo donations. Yes chaps, that’ll do it.
Two men can chuck 72m at a political party. The rich can afford to pay for this energy transition. The idea “we” can’t afford it is crazy www.theguardian.com/business/ng-...

Thousands of miles of new power lines are needed to deliver climate targets and energy security, but bills will rise in the short term and opponents are mobilising

That game was two dreadful teams. You’d think we must be better than them #lufc
Whenever we see someone post that they're stopping their donation to the RNLI, like some right-wing virtue-signalling flex, we can't help but think of this. You can donate to the RNLI here: buff.ly/bsku22S
What sort of society are we living in that RNLI volunteers are being told not to wear their insignia in public in case they are confronted by ignorant scumbags 🤷♂️
This is major evidence of war crimes www.theguardian.com/world/2026/s...

Watching the goals, and Nmecha’s assist for our 2nd was probably intentional but it also kind of looks like he fell over the ball. He’s so strange #lufc
No wonder they need so many data centers Gotta store their 24/7 surveillance of us all
