I don't believe in coincidences, so the fact that on the day of the first PMQs when the PM faces the leader of the opposition, I smell a rat when Farage seeks to upstage them by having a BBC interview with the sycophantic Chris Mason.

The depressing thing about the US isn't Trump really. He's just a grotesque. It's the complete failure of all the things liberals believe in: Congress, the judiciary, the press, voters themselves, all persistently unwilling or unable to stop him. It's the failure of an entire society.
And yet still farm counties will vote Republican. They always do.
I think our government should be showing support for Canada. Carney is standing up to the bully. If the Commonwealth means anything, we should be standing shoulder to shoulder.
The BBC splashed Farage all over the lunchtime news whilst he is in mid election campaign. Shouldn't they give equal coverage to the other candidates? Silly question of course as it is the Reform loving BBC.
She's been onto Nigel Farage and "Posh George" for years - until she was sued. @carolecadwalla.bsky.social's brilliant long-read here, on her decades of following the story everyone's writing about now. She's a HERO: www.thenerve.news/p/nigel-fara...
Farage, the money launderer and me: a decade of denial
The Reform leader’s relationship with the UK media has enabled him to operate with impunity for years. This past fortnight, that impunity finally appeared to be coming to an end. Carole Cadwalladr, wh...

It's good that Andy Burnham has taken a critical look at Starmer's government's response to Gaza. However he needs to take a hard look at our relationship with Israel and it's current government and leadership.
BBC News - Supreme Court rejects Trump's appeal of E Jean Carroll's sexual abuse case www.bbc.co.uk/news/article... If Trump had any decency he would resign. He's ab utter disgrace.

Did you watch Dirty Business? I can't believe how much water companies have gotten away with. They're putting profit before public health - it’s a scandal and the Government MUST take action! Sick of sewage? Add your name to the petition today: you.38degrees.org.uk/petitions/pr...
End the sewage pollution scandal
We're sick of it. Sick of the lies, sick of the greed, and sick of a system rigged against us. This is a scandal and this dirty business must end. For more than 30 years water companies have put corpo...

What is the point of a national patron saint, particularly one with no connection to our country. St. Cuthbert would be my choice.
I'm just relieved nobody is talking about how I said I bought a house in Clacton, then admitted it was in the name of my girlfriend, Laure Ferrari, even though she couldn't afford £885,000, which conveniently meant I avoided £44,000 in tax. Please don't share.
The Local Power Plan could build renewable energy projects across the country. That could mean solar on our schools and public buildings owned by local people, with profits reinvested here rather than extracted by distant energy companies.
Today posted to Reform the leaflet pushed through my letterbox. No stamp.
Nigel Farage still quiet on Trump's disparaging comments about NATO troops? 🤔 Reform -2? #UKPolitics #Trump #Farage #NATO
I think we are fast reaching the point when Starmer needs to recognise that his relationship with Trump is worthless. We will not be bullied and we should not appease a bully.
Starmer needs to back Denmark over Greenland. Bullies not to be appeased.
Wow - Lancashire's Reform led council are really trying to close care homes, kicking elderly residents out by February. I can't believe they think targeting the vulnerable is a good way to save money. Join me and sign the petition against these cruel cuts: you.38degrees.org.uk/petitions/sa...
Save our care homes: the elderly need our help!
It might be your parents or a relative that this could happen to. These are very elderly people and some confused or with Alzheimer’s and being moved would greatly affect their health and wellbeing. ...

Article from today's Indy. There is no hope for the Israeli government when it entertains our leading Fascist. The victims of the holocaust must be turning in their graves.
