In my first real run of ai/agentic coding for work and it reminds me of IBM’s infamous KLOCs from decades ago. Instead of lines of code though its features shipped. Is the feature good? Does it work outside of my AI environment? Doesn’t matter. We just need to ship more features

My take is the horse has left the barn and in 5~10 years 90% of AI usage will be on open source models running locally. It’s like what we see with Nginx or Apache HTTP Server today. That other 10% is what Anthropic, and OpenAi are fighting over
