Climate Hawks Vote

@climatehawksvote.com

Climate matters. We vote. We will work to elect leaders who will act on the greatest challenge to humanity's next few generations.

I couldn’t be prouder of the movement we’ve built in mid-Michigan. Thank you, Ambassador Bridget Brink and Matt Maasdam, for your years of public service and all your hard work on the campaign trail. While tonight we celebrate, there’s still much more work ahead.

💥 We’re proud to endorse Justin Pearson, a data center fighter + voting rights champ running for Congress in TN. As an organizer + state rep, Justin fought to protect his community from polluting fossil fuel projects, including an X/AI data center. Now, he's ready to take that fight to Congress.

📣 Our new report finds that the Trump admin’s energy + AI “dominance” policies + hostility to renewables will make it even harder for working families to afford their energy bills. Thanks to Trump, the wholesale price of fossil gas could DOUBLE over the next decade, outpacing inflation every year.

Line graph comparing projected nominal average Henry Hub natural gas prices from EIA and Rystad Energy against a 2% inflation baseline from 2025 to 2040.

The Trump administration barely finished one devastating attack on the #ESA before circling back for another. In a sickening one-two punch, the administration eliminated automatic protections for threatened species and gave corporations a say in whether imperiled species can keep their homes.

Most people—even many Republican voters!—understand that climate change is worsening wildfires. And yet, we cannot do anything about it, because fossil fuel money is choking both Republican and Democratic politicians, preventing them from even having a *conversation* about solutions.

The fossil fuel money behind the GOP’s wildfire blame game

As smoke from Canadian wildfires chokes the United States, Republicans are blaming everyone but the industry heating the planet. Guess why?

"When white moderates complained in similar fashion about the civil rights movement, Martin Luther King criticized their 'mythical concept of time' in Why We Can’t Wait. We can’t wait when it comes to climate change, either."

“To a remarkable degree, the greatest threats to our democracy in recent decades have their origins in efforts to protect the fossil fuel industry from a clean energy transition.” @aaronregunberg.bsky.social on what the arguments for “climate hushing” get wrong:

NEW BLOG FOR YOU Google's energy consumption numbers in their new climate report are mind-blowing. 2 years ago they flipped from linear to exponential growth, and their climate impact is blowing out, too. A WILD testament to the obscene bloat and waste of GenAI: ketanjoshi.co/2026/07/01/g...
