Superhappy to share the last paper from my PhD in @litinice.bsky.social lab. We evolved yeasts with humanized telomeric repeats and discovered that they adapt through amplification of telomere-binding proteins and inactivation of the DNA damage response. www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1...
