Giant Bellflower at West Tanfield, a plant so exotic-looking people often wrongly assume it's a garden escape. The first British record was by Gerard: "In the yeere 1626 I found it in great plenty, growing wilde upon the bankes of the River Ouse in Yorkeshire, as I went from Yorke to visit Selby".
