Could be worse I guess. At least we’re not Germany or Italy.
Really when we get down to brass tacks about this whole World Cup situation there’s one extremely important thing to remember. Everybody else is wrong about some part of it. I, however, am right about everything and grasp each detail in all of its glorious nuance.

I think it’s pretty reasonable to conclude that voters are not motivated by climate change as a political issue and therefore if you’re going to save the planet you need to act while in power but not campaign on it.

an easy way to visualize something like this is to imagine i collect a month’s worth of bsky posts. reading them is against the rules, so instead i create a blackbox where every user who mentions @jcsalterego.bsky.social gets put on a list. i never actually need to read (aka 4A search) anything.
but instead of bsky posts its private dms, texts, and phone calls. i don’t actually know what’s going on with these classified letters. i’m just spitballing. but i would bet my right eye it’s AI related & these are known issues.
A crucial part of Project 2029 has to be performative trials and draconian sentencing for Trump administration officials up and down the organizational ladder. Treat all of them like Timothy McVeigh so that the gravity of their criminality and treason become enduring images in American history.
