Progressive, queer, an armchair liberation psychologist*, and increasingly unable to shut up. Also I'm a fancy numbers lady

Am told at the blue ash Ohio ICE office today that a bunch of springfield Haitians were told to just “check in” at are now having ankle monitors put on them, which, uh….. they’re not supposed to be fucking doing that

Loving the "Defending AIPAC by saying that when AIPAC claims it defeated a candidate, it's wrong" angle "Why wouldn't you trust AIPAC? You think they went against Kat just because they said they did? You can't trust what they say about their own efforts, esp if it makes them look bad later!"

It'd be weird if they also spent money against the winner wouldn't it? Almost like this is just cope on their end after spending a lot of money and their candidate taking 3rd.

can't even enjoy the irony of EA itself being swallowed in a grand acquisition by larger forces who do not care about it beyond its ability to be stripped for parts because ultimately the outcome will be the same; more jobs cut, livelihoods ruined, and art thrown onto a fire

'Electronic Arts Set to Close $55 Billion Go-Private Deal Next Week' "As of July 30, 2026, all regulatory approvals required to complete the Merger have been obtained. Electronic Arts currently expects the Merger to close on or about the close of trading on August 4, 2026."

i think it's bad to engage in sexual harassment, particularly sexual harassment with a violent framing, regardless of how it affects how people treat us because sexual harassment is bad you don't need a more nuanced reason to refrain from sexual harassment, "it's bad" is more than enough.

Reply reading "I don't think we should be this comfortable with violent sexualized expressions of contempt directed at transphobic women. Surely regular contempt gets the message across."

Reply to that reading "The transphobes aren't going to be any less transphobic if I'm nice to them or less contemptuous at them. At best, being nice to them just gets me tokenized and they're still vile to everyone else."

Propounding a cause isn’t about winning an election. It’s about expanding the scope of social imagination, which expands the scope of practical possibilities, which changes many other things, including but not limited to what positions and candidates (and even slogans!) can and cannot win elections.
