Norm Charlatan@normcharlatan.bsky.social · 3mo agoI am curious about the effect that almost everyone I know, even people who are doing relatively well, thinks they would be more successful economically if they sacrificed their ethical principles and just became a grifter of some sort.
Fun fact: He's kinda right. The marginal tax rate for the wealthiest Americans is 1/3.of what is was when MAGA claim America was great (50's & 60's) The effective tax rate (b/c of tax policies & shelter for the rich) is ~1/10th of what is was. ... We can fix that.
