Conspiracy theorizing doesn't help, especially when based on the premise that Trump and Co. are thinking multiple moves ahead, carefully executing secret plots. Vigilance and worry, yes, but don't grant the regime more power and competence than it has. That's how you get people to obey in advance.
If he really wants to destroy Iran he shouldn't be asking Europe for weapons, he should be running it as one of his businesses.
