2/ the CS3 cycle journey totem wasn't fixed by the last reboot (spotted by @westcountrytim.bsky.social last week), it still to use @highpoh.bsky.social 's word "glitches", failing to count folk going past, resetting to zero per video, then restarting

#FeralFriday in full swing out there this evening. Must be the heat. Everyone has taken leave of their senses. The heat is also getting to the counter which was stuck at 6610 when I arrived missed about 10, reset to 0, missed another few and started counting again. @cs3cs6count.bsky.social
The E on the One Network map implies it’s an emergency so I would guess TfL had no up front opportunity to apply permit conditions. Doesn’t excuse the usual poor layout of roadworks for cycleways though

A cycleway is only as good as its weakest link and #ThamesWater seem determined (or careless) to weaken as many as possible. Right now TfL Cycleways 2, 3, 4, and 22 are ALL closed in some way by #ThamesWater with no safe alternatives. How is this acceptable?

Busy on the Millbank approach to Parliament square on a warm morning in London.
We are aware & will be writing to both Thames and Newham shortly. From the permit it looks due to extend into October which is clearly not acceptable with the current footprint - there must be a protected facility reinstated before schools start again in September.
Also with apologies for the not quite ideal photo, significant roadworks on Stratford High Street (Warton Rd -Carpenter's Rd) Cyclists must merge with the traffic. Thankfully there were some kind motorists who let me and fellow cyclists out @newhamcyclists.uk curse Thames Water.

Goodness #CS3 was super busy tonight on the way home. Was like a full Tube Strike day. Also starting to get significant congestion on #CS2... we're going to need bigger bike lanes. @cs3cs6count.bsky.social tonight's counts (very low given how busy things were)
