To the right-wing media, though, the fact one of their own could get cut down like this was a genuine trauma.
The SCREEN Act is not just another age-verification bill — it goes much further than anything passed at the state-level or in other countries. 1. The bill doesn't just target porn sites. It goes after *any* site that allows material "harmful" to minors. You'd have to scan your face to use Google.
In the oil shocks of the 1970's, people began trying like hell to build renewable energy systems. In *this* oil shock, those systems already exist, are cheaper than ever before, and the US has spent the past several generations slamming its dick in a car door.
One time my mom was at Goodwill and she saw a guy go up to this poster, buy it, then rip it into pieces and give it back to the cashier. So my mom took it from the cashier, taped it back together, and kept it because she thought it was funny. It's been on the wall for 16 years. Art is context.
Just so everyone knows, this is a tried-and-true mainstream media tactic. For progressives/leftist candidates, every election is a “crucial test” and any loss would serve as proof to the media that the latest left-side moment is at its end. Any win, though, just means it’s time to find a new test.
