Brilliant letter from Stuart Thompson to Jeremy Clarkson about his comments that benefit claimants should write weekly thank you letters to tax payers detailing how they spend their benefits each week.

Sidmouth Bayeux show was a lot. 150 brave souls sitting, standing & on the floor to watch the show, and had to turn 100 away from the queue. Sorry to all who didn't get in. We're looking to see if there's space for a second Friday show. Hugely touched by the interest and love of epic embroidery!

Now, we all know the Bayeux Tapestry is currently visiting the BM &tha t there is a replica in Reading. But do you know there are quite a few embroideries inspired by the BT around the UK? Today I went to see the Invasion Tapestry in Fishguard lastinvasiontapestry.cymru #skystorians 🏺1/

On my way to @imc-leeds.bsky.social. Looking forward to attending the MRDS New Voices in medieval drama session (with my PhD student and other excellent scholars doing wildly exciting work). Then giving a paper on using eco criticism in performance storytelling on Tuesday with @jamespaz.bsky.social.
