Chris Person@papapishu.bsky.social · 6mo agoI understand framing the AI bubble RAM supply crisis in terms of stuff like video game consoles because nerds can conceptualize that but the framing does really undersell the sheer magnitude of how it's going to fuck up everything that even touches a computer.
Having a linguistics background I think there's a huge misconception when it comes to prompting LLM's, the vast majority thinks that coding is "hard" compared with speaking a natural language. Well it's actually the contrary from a utilitarian POV less verbs at your disposal => easier to be specific

This makes the Jan 23, 2026 action the largest strike in Minnesota History, and depending on which number you use, 3rd in American History after the massive national strikes of 1919, or the Great Railroad Strike of 1922. I note with extreme interest that mainstream media didn't report these facts.

If you campaigned for the presidency on a promise to destroy these assholes, you would win a landslide the size of FDR in 1936, when he campaigned on a promise to destroy these assholes.

But because it shows an emerging trend that high profile people have finally started speaking up, despite concerns it might alienate their followers. It is time to choose sides.
