There’s obviously a nuance here because not all code reviews are created equal. But I suspect anyone who’s approved > 10 PRS with any version of “👍 LGTM” is net less good at most code reviews than the robots are rn. And that has to be 95% of everyone I know who’s worked as a dev in a team.

Oxford Preservation Trust has gained Listed Building Consent to restore the Grade II listed drinking fountain over Walton Well, on Walton Well Road. The fountain was built in 1885 to replace a long-standing trough over the ancient spring, but has not worked for years.

This is both interesting and a Good Thing. (The targeted promotion, I mean)

Honestly, the real reason to cancel is that Claude Code is an awful harness that hinders the true potential of the models, and one of the main reasons I'm canceling is that they don't let you use subs with third party harnesses.

One of my fave things in York Minster: a medieval wren stalking a spider. It reminds me that history isn't only kings and battles. Someone, centuries ago, found joy in the same things we still notice today. It's a reminder of how much we have in common over our differences.
