One element missing from the authoritative account below: people loved cars. The freedom to go anywhere, whenever you liked! A miracle!

I mean - if what they 'figured out' is "let almost a decade of time pass which is exactly how long it takes people who loved the MCU as kids in the 2010s and decided they were too cool for it as teenagers in the 2020s to age into being nostalgic for it again" then ...yeah, they probly did though 🤷♂️
