The guy that they want you to be terrified of (Mamdani) is making sure kids in NYC are fed all summer and people have access to cheaper groceries, all while they take food away from kids getting SNAP. Just sayin, feeding kids should make you the good guy.

Can't get numb to this: The United States is stuck in a war it started, cannot end, and may further escalate to no avail, having dismantled its diplomatic apparatus, depleted its military stockpile, and destroyed its credibility. A historic strategic mistake harming millions in many different ways.

It should probably go without saying, but if you for any reason are calling for a public policy that involves sterilizing people, it's time to take a step back and ask yourself where the fuck you went wrong.

CNN put together a montage of Trump officials, including Trump himself, saying over and over again for nearly three months now that gas prices are about to drop, any day now

It’s weird that Republicans and most of the media seem to have decided what Trump does on social media and what he says when he’s riffing in speeches just doesn’t count. None of it. Doesn’t count.

The NYPD’s indifference to this dangerous behavior confirms the worst fears of street safety activists, who have long suspected that cops refuse to enforce basic parking and traffic laws precisely because they so frequently break them out of uniform. nyc.streetsblog.org/2026/04/23/t...

To Protect And Swerve: NYPD Cop Has 547 Speeding Tickets Yet Remains On The Force - Streetsblog New York City

One of the city’s most-dangerous drivers is an officer with the NYPD, which does nothing to stop his reign of terror on Staten Island.

This is your periodic reminder that Democrats introduced legislation in 2021 to ban gerrymandering nationwide and every republican voted against it except two who were absent.

For the record: The Washington Post is run by partisan hacks who think we won't remember that they took the *exact* opposite stance when it was Republicans pushing their own gerrymandering grab in Texas last year -- *without* putting it up for a vote.

For the record: The Washington Post can go fuck itself. Support pro-democracy media that doesn't have its head stuck up Donald Trump's ass. bit.ly/4qmEiFz

Congrats on “opening” a strait that was open six weeks ago, and all it cost was at least 13 dead service members, thousands of dead Iranian civilians, tens of billions in taxpayer dollars, our loss in global standing, and the Iranian regime’s increase in power. Phenomenal work.

While Trump's assertion that "a whole civilization will die tonight" represents a discrete threat of genocide against Iran, the fact that it comes from a U.S. president, while Congress does nothing, actually represents a broader civilizational collapse — whether he follows through or not.

Not a single elected Republican member of Congress will condemn this. Not a single member of the Trump administration will resign over this. That tells you everything you need to know about the GOP.
