Some thing on the internet. He/him. Tokyo. LFC. Red Sox. Yakult Swallows (sometimes). Football. Baseball. Sports. Politics. Music. Lefty. Scouser. EN/JP 英・日

Watched the replay of the #LFC game and just... Curtis, mate, please. None of this has looked good. IF you want to go, then say so. Enough BS. Also, I know Gravenberch hasn't had much time with the coach, but this lad has ruined my head. He can't run, he can't pass, he clearly hates tackling.

That said, let us take a moment to thank our Bluesky Trans and Furry Elders for freaking out Jack Dorsey so much he bolted and left us this nice social media playground, taking most of his crypto chuds with him. We thank you for your service.

the fact that Liverpool will sell Jones for less than a third of Anderson’s fee and less than half of Bruno’s and Tonali’s fees really underlines the stupidity that permeates the Liverpool front office. he’s more valuable to Liverpool as a starting CM this season than the fee he’d bring.

Liverpool‘s best period last season (by underlying metrics) was when Mo was not in the squad and Curtis was starting regularly in midfield. Mo came back after AFCON and did nothing before leaving on a free. Curtis was marginalized and is now leaving for pittance. Just a shitshow of decision making.

The best period last season was when Mo was not in the team and Curtis was starting regularly in midfield. Then Mo was reintegrated (and did absolutely nothing) while Curtis was marginalized while Macca was walking around with a cane. No wonder Curtis decided he’d had enough of the bullshit.

As the Liverpool v Wrexham game sparked the latest round of Yankee Stadium as a soccer field discourse, here's Pele playing at the stadium for New York Cosmos when they didn't even cover the infield dirt/sand with temporary grass.

NEW: A viral Japanese social post notes the price of sanitary pads (along w/ diapers & toilet paper) is going up 15%. That sparked debate over why Japan's first female PM isn't doing anything for women, and why Japan doesn't follow South Korea and give them away for free.

In Japan, Sanitary Pads Are Getting Pricier. In Korea, They're Going Free

A viral post blamed Japan's first female prime minister for higher pad costs, highlighting a highly controversial political topic.

Japan has had several 40°C days this summer, but today's in 日田 (Hita), Oita was the first ever 40°C day in all of Kyushu. The 38.7°C in 肝付前田 (Kimotsuki Maeda) was the hottest day ever in Kagoshima. Fukuoka Prefecture also had two all-time records today. 暑いですね

I’d ask “what the fuck are the BBC playing at” but I know the answer is “much the same shit most of the press has been at, for about ten years”, and I think it’s pretty clear that it’s all the far right dogs that are up on their hind legs barking in response.

It's so incredibly dangerous for Britain that its foreign policy is now driven by a need to chase the Muslim vote.
Throwing a critical ally under a bus and damaging Britain's own national security.

Is Burnham's Gaza apology enough to win back Labour's lost Muslim voters?

I again point out that “the Bolsheviks and the untermenschen are secretly in league, plotting together to destroy the fatherland from within” is not just *a* Nazi conspiracy theory. It is *the* Nazi conspiracy theory, and nobody with any sense should be indulging any part of it.
