The American Dream has become an American Nightmare. It’s too expensive to buy a home. It’s too expensive to get married and have kids. It’s too expensive to retire comfortably. The top 1% put the American Dream behind a paywall.

CEOs are raking in $17 million a year, 300 times what their own workers make, and John Husted’s answer is “learn to budget.” Sherrod Brown wrote the law that got over 100,000 Ohioans their stolen pensions back. Vote for who fights for you, not who lectures you! #BlueWaveIn90Days

A lifelong Republican just endorsed Mary Peltola because she understands working-class struggles better than the people supposedly on his own side. This is what happens when we build something bigger than party lines. Let’s keep that momentum going. #BlueWaveIn90Days

I'd love to credit whoever wrote this. No idea. But I'm 100% with its message. When I think of how the '80s ethos, "Greed is Good" has metastasized, it surprises and depresses me. Imagine having so many millions, hundred of millions, even billions & caring about nothing except your own vanity.

El-Sayed on Vance: Is that Peter Thiel's boy with that Ohio charisma? The last thing that he said that made any sense was Hillbilly Elegy—after he said that Donald Trump had no business being president of anything. And then he decided to suck up to power.

At least 54 people died in ICE custody since Trump took office. Another 11 died after being shot by ICE-with 41 gunshot victims altogether El-Sayed is right. ICE must be disbanded. And everyone responsible needs to be held accountable. Even if-especially if-that includes criminal prosecutions

El-Sayed: "Once a government agency like ICE is told it has impunity to do the worst things and violate the highest law of the land, which is the Constitution itself, I don't think you can reform or retrain. I think we need to start from scratch ... I think we need to abolish it."
