I think when people make that goofy joke "how do you know someone's vegan, don't worry they'll tell you" they maybe don't grasp that we regularly have to argue just to get our food.

One of the most important issues of our time is that the future of humanity is presently being authored by people who have nothing but total contempt for humanity and seek the erasure of everything that gives being a human meaning. It’s not just annoying. It doesn’t just suck. It’s existential.
(I do mean technologically obsolete: the median profile of an LLM enthusiast is a middle aged, male, late career in senior management/C suite, who started his career as a technical boy 30+ years ago and has not had his hands in the code for at least a decade, and relishes the obedience of LLMs. —
