Three years ago, my dad said that all fish are the same shape. Out of spite, I decided to draw all 478 families of bony fish listed in Nelson 2016. There's still some stuff I need to edit and some fish I want to redraw but, after 985 days, I finished my big dumb fish project last night.

478 black-and-white doodles of bony fishes. The first fish is a coelacanth; the last an ocean sunfish.

This book is a nice autumn present for anyone who loves making things, or worries about the things they make. It contains a quiet little ghost who is extremely enthusiastic about your art. uk.bookshop.org/p/books/i-wi...

I’m not angry, OpenReach, but I am disappointed… because I fear that the engineer due at my aging mother’s between 8:00am and 1:00pm today, may not make it here on time. And no one’s phoned to keep us informed. Poor show. (BT, to be fair, tried to help but Mr OpenReach isn’t answering his mobile).

I’m having a sale on blade pens and so I drew a demon with one and filmed it and then edited the drawing together with some music I made into a video. Use the code TENTENTEN to get 10% off thingsbydan.myshopify.com

Now, obviously cats are just a hellish nightmare in real life, but Viv Schwarz’s painted cats are a delight (and will almost certainly require much less feeding and care and won’t ever stick their arse in your face), so… highly recommended!

I just re-opened my shop to sell some signed books... and original art. Scrappy cats, painted by hand, for you, go get one! I will add all of the ones in this picture today and then see if I can paint a few more... (I am raising some money to aircon my flat here.) vivschwarz.bigcartel.com

Colourful cats painted on scrap paper and cut out.
