Holla at @seanmorl.com, Andy Burnham’s new senior advisor, for making ending rough sleeping the first thing to do when he’s prime minister. (Audio from the excellent and much-missed Mandatory Redistribution Party podcast with @jacklewisevanz.bsky.social.)
Idea: Charge people £5 a head for a square go with Steve Bray, we'd clear the national debt in under a week
Steve Bray there, always reading the room, shout-singing Ode to Joy while Andy Burnham is expressing how he wants to eradicate rough sleeping.
Steve Bray trying to sing his way through the Met police ban on having a speaker, is it.
Also getting a peerage, for the Tories, is businessman David Ross. He has donated just under £1.5m to the party in a whole series of donations since 2001, so patience does finally pay off.
Semi-annual reminder that anyone who accepts an honour from the British Empire is a toadying cunt. No exceptions.
I'm feeling civic pride that the milkshake that still lives rent-free in frogcunt's mind was accidently spilt in Newcastle.
"waaaaaaaaah, oh wah wah waahhhhhhh" - Nigel Farage, 62
Calling a by-election over the sovereign right of every MP to take secret gifts from a convicted criminal. What a time to be alive.
"i didn't even bother filing an insurance claim" is, i'm sure, entirely consistent with his attitude towards other people, eg. women, who don't report crimes at the time that they happen
Can we all just remember when Farage starts whining ‘everyone is out to get me’ that Jo Cox was murdered immediately after he unveiled his breaking point poster & he has caused more division, more hurt & more national harm than any other politician in the last few decades.
Landlord cunts ruining the Ouseburn, this time they want green land and warehouse venues turned into their shit flats, for profit. Here’s a petition to help thwart it: c.org/NZbBBPwGPD

Look, I know it's easy to have a pop at Starmer, but that was an incredibly honourable resignation he was forced into kicking & screaming, & his words that everyone who disagreed with him was morally bankrupt & his appeasement of fascists & transphobes was for the good of the country was v. moving
if starmer is going to be remembered at all, and it's a big if, it should be for being a deeply authoritarian and nasty streak of piss who enthusiastically supported genocide overseas and worked tirelessly to make the lives of trans people worse all to appease a handful of brain rotted fascists
Keir Starmer announces his resignation as prime minister and leader of Labour Party
Speaking in Downing Street, the PM says he informed the King of his decision this morning. He will remain in place until Labour chooses a new leader.

Starmer saying the next PM will inherit a country that is 'fairer' than the one he inherited 2 years ago. In the one Starmer inherited, trans people could use public toilets.
What are your highlights? I will never forget racist riots taking place where they were trying to burn people alive and he took about 8 business days to call them racist and sent Yvette Cooper out to talk about how much she loves England flags and has them in bunting form
how can my AirPods filter out ambient noise but tv still can’t get Steve Bray out of the audio mix
My feelings about Steve Bray are the closest glimpse I can get as to why the leavers voted like they did.
the age group in the UK whose minds are the most fried and poisoned by social media are 50+, not 16 year olds.
not now kitten, Daddy has to lock in and come up with a joke about Wes Streeting that will get 5 likes on a third-tier social media app
Labour MPs calling for an orderly transition but unfortunately their government needs to be at least 18 years old with four doctors to sign off first
Wonder if anyone’s ever posted a similar map of Devon and Cornwall and remarked on what’s happening “in the south of England”?
Catastrophic for Labour in the north of England. Huge wins for Reform
Every photo of this man makes him look like that photo of Cilla Black when she stole that guy’s table in a restaurant and refused to move
Well, that’s the up-until-now polite local community WhatsApp group fucked.
@stuartlawscomedy.bsky.social Absolutely loved that show, we all had faith that you could do it Stuart!
