the way masks are forgotten, eschewed, if not outright derided is imo bc of this same silence, denial. it shouldnt be taboo to acknowledge the harm SARS2 caused, but doing so means acknowledging the ways it continues today, which would mean acknowledging YOU are implicated in changing how things are

this is happening right now, whether you educate yourself on it or not. but know that if you're acting as if there is no threat, it's easy to convince yourself these are harms for someone else to worry about, because why would someone who's been harmed trust someone who's not acting to protect them?

When people die and the media says they had “pre-existing conditions”… they’re pacifying the public. Anyone could die from Cyclosporiasis, but they want you to believe it can’t happen to you. It can only happen to the weak, the disabled, the elderly. The expendable people. Eugenics.

So why is it that with Long Covid 7 years on we still have this dismissal agenda despite a massive amount of scientific evidence? We really ought to study this sociological phenomenon more closely. That’s what we need more evidence on, not the existence of LC.
